Kinski’s acting career began in 1973 at 13, playing “Mignon”, a mute juggler who lived with an older man in the German film False Movement (1975). At this time, her name was seen as Nastassja Naksynski. She worked in German television, winning acting awards like the “Bambi” and “Otto”. In 1976, at the age of 16, she decided on a modeling career when she was spotted by Roman Polanski at a party. At this time, he took her to the Seychelle Islands for a fashion shoot for the French Vogue magazine. It is at this time that the love affair between the two began. She has also been romantically linked to Marcello Mastroianni and Milos Forman. She then began acting in various movies since then, starting with the British film “To The Devil a Daughter” (1976) and the movie Stay As You Are (1977). The movie Tess (1979), which was nominated in for 6 academy awards is still the role for which she is most famous. Her most famous photograph is probably the poster she posed for in 1981 with a python by photographer Richard Avedon (the python being her idea), for which she apparently received no recognition. She married Ibrahim Moussa September 10th 1984 and had two children by him. Aljosha, born June 29, 1984 and Sonja, born 1986. Her on again off again relationship with Moussa was finally terminated in 1992 - seeing Nastassja win the custody of her two children. She then had a child, Kenya (born 1993) with the famous Quincy Jones. She is now a very busy actress and single mom, looking after her three children.
